This course provides the necessary background in geometry for students preparing for the AMC 8 math competition. Students learn tips and tricks for solving geometry problems and expand their spatial reasoning. In-depth problem solving trains students to efficiently solve complex questions and minimize mistakes. These skills not only help students stand out among their peers during the AMC 8 competition, but lead to success in school and on standardized tests (placement tests, SAT, etc.). Students build a strong foundation and love of mathematics that leads them to academic success throughout their life.

Class Meetings:  Tuesdays September 26th through November 29th (10 sessions) from 5:00-6:30 PM

Tuition:  \$693 which includes 10 onsite sessions, course handouts, and self-paced video recordings for review.

Topics Covered:  Advanced problem solving in geometry including angles in triangles and other polygons, congruence and similarity, areas, and circles.
