Areteem Course and Camp Program Refund Policies
For all programs, tuition is to be paid in full to complete your enrollment prior to participating.
Please see the Addendum at the bottom of the page for modifications of the general policy for specific programs.
Areteem Online Live Course Refund Policy
Note: Live Courses are considered classes with 10 or more meetings. For shorter workshops and prep courses see below.
- If students wish to change a course based on difficulty level, families must contact student services at info@areteem.org within three (3) weeks following the first live class about transferring a student into another course or discuss options for giving credit, applying to other classes or programs, etc. Please include the student name and email used to register for the class as well as a phone number in your email. Each originally registered course may not be adjusted more than twice.
- If students wish to drop from a course and receive a refund, families must contact student services using the Drop Course Form (available by clicking here) within 10 days of the first live class. This gives students time to attend the first two weekly live class sessions to make sure the class is a good fit. The refund amount will be the full course amount minus the portion of the sessions that the student has attended.
- Students joining the course after it has started still have up to 10 days to drop and receive a refund, but are only allowed to view/download material and/or recorded video for up to 2 class sessions. The refund amount will be the full course amount minus the portion of the sessions that the student has attended or the recordings/materials viewed or downloaded.
- No refund or credit can be requested after 10 days or if a student has viewed materials for more than 2 class sessions.
- There is no refund or credit given for missed classes as missed classes can be made up by watching the class video recordings as well as asking questions in the Online Class Discussion Forum.
- For refund purposes, year packets are considered a single course, and as such, no refunds are given 10 days after the first course in the bundle has started.
- Areteem reserves the right to cancel a course at any time (due to low enrollment or any other unforeseen reason). In the result of a cancellation, students will be notified as soon as possible. Students in courses canceled before the start date are entitled to a full refund. In the extreme event that Areteem needs to cancel a course that has already started, students will receive a prorated refund.
Areteem Online Self-Paced Course Refund Policy
Note: Self-Paced Courses are considered classes with 10 or more video lectures or recordings. For shorter workshops and prep courses see below.
