Thanks for asking! Both 7 and 8 should be considered correct for this question (I updated your HW feedback, sorry about that!).

The reason that both 7 and 8 should be considered correct is:

  • "There are 7 e's in this sentence." is TRUE
  • "There are eight e's in this sentence." is also TRUE.
