Hello,

Hello! I factored this one as 3^3*7*11*13*37*101*9901, but I'm having trouble figuring out whether or not 9901 is prime. Do I really have to test out all of the primes < sqrt(9901)?

Yes.  There are $25$ prime numbers under $100$.  Most of them are pretty easy to check.  The worse case will require a couple steps of long division.
