Hello,

For Math challenge I-B Fall 2017 Geometry Week 7 Example Question 7.10, the given picture does not match up with the question. Without the right picture, one can't solve the question. Please tell me the right picture.

Hi Hannah!

Did you by chance print the handout before class? I think the week 7 handout and week 7 solutions on the class page are correct. Regardless the problem should be:

In the figure containing right triangle $BCE$ and parallelogram $ABCD$ shown below, $EF = 3$, $EG = 5$ and $BG = 20$. Find the area of the shaded region.
