MC II-A Week 8 HW help

For this question:

If the degree of a single term in the polynomial g(x)g(x) is odd, then g(x)=0g(x)=0 for some real value of xx.

Does this mean that degree of all the terms in the polynomial have to be odd, or only one of them have to be odd?

Thanks Mr. Lensmire, or anybody that happens to answer this!

Hi Humphrey! That just means that a single term in g(x) is odd. Not all of the terms have to be odd.
