Math Challenge II B: Should all of the answers be clean?

I got a rather messy answer for Q1.30 by creating two equations and setting them as equal and I'm not sure if this should be happening as all of my other answers were relatively clean.

Perhaps you want to simplify your answer or rationalize the denominator. The answer does have square roots and could look rather messy if it is not simplified.
