For question 4, try working backwards. For example, since after reading $\frac{1}{3}$ of the remaining pages and 18 more there were 62 pages left to read, $62 + 18 = 80$ pages makes for $1 - \frac{1}{3} = \frac{2}{3}$ of the pages left to read after day 2, that is, $80 \div \frac{2}{3} = 120$ pages.
