Hi, I am very confused about what to do. I added and subtracted ab like someone else said  in a reply to a previous post about this question but I still don't know what to do. Please help!

Here's an extra hint: Try to group some of the terms (included the newly added $ab$ and $-ab$) and find common factors. For example, $a^3b - ab^3 = ab(a^2 - b^2)$.
