What do you mean by "the smallest root"? Do you mean the smaller of the two, or the minimum of the function?

For 2.25, does "a" real solution mean one real solution or at least one real solution?

For 2.11, out of all the roots (i.e. the solutions to the equation), which one is the smallest one?

For 2.25, we mean "at least one real solution".
