I missed the beginning of Tuesday's Intensive Precalculus class and was watching the recording. I think I saw a mistake. At 34:50, shouldn't e = -8? -18 = -2(6)-2(-1)+c=-12+2+c=-10+c, so c=-8.
Thanks for pointing this out Arnav! The issue is that actually the equation should be $-18 = -4A -2B + C$ (and not $-18 = -2A -2B + C$), for which $C = 4$ when $A=6$, and $B = -1$.
