For 9.26:

• In part (a), ranges of values will work. so you just want to describe which $x$ will work using inequalities, etc. I know we didn't solve 9.4(b) in class, but 9.26(a) is similar to that problem in terms of having ranges of values of $x$ that work.
• In part (b), we actually have that either (i) $\lfloor 2x\rfloor = 2 \lfloor x \rfloor$ as in part (a) or (ii) $\lfloor 2x\rfloor = $ something else (involving $2 \lfloor x \rfloor$), which we're looking for in part (b).
