Math Transition Courses

Course Description

The Math Transition Courses are meant to help international students (especially those from China) get ready to study math in the United States. In many cases, an international student may have already been exposed to many of the math concepts and ideas in a course, but need time to adjust to the different ways problems and solutions are presented.

Each of our transitional courses below covers standard high school curriculum at an accelerated pace, so students get accustomed to learning math in English. This can help them when taking placement exams and also when they take a more advanced course.

Course Terms

Upcoming Math Transition Courses include:

  • Algebra I, starting Winter 2018
  • Geometry, starting Summer 2019
  • Fun Math For Upper Elementary School, starting August 2019
  • Algebra II, starting during the 2019-2020 school year
