I don't understand why AC=CE. Are triangle ADC and CDE congruent?

I'm not sure about an AC = CE in 5.21. Are you talking about 5.23 here? I've updated the proof of 5.23 the self-paced course quiz, so you should be able to review again. Hopefully the updated version makes things more clear.
