I don't know what the problem is talking about, I don't understand what is it asking for.

Here is the question 8.18 on MC I-C Finite Math:
Alice, Bob, Charles, and Desiree are $4$ students comparing the days of the week on which they were born. How many possible outcomes are there if we don't care about who was born on a given day? That is, we only care how many of them are both born on each day of the week.
There is a typo at the end of the problem: "both" should be "born". If we only care about how many are born on each day, the possibilities can be: 1 was born on Monday, 2 were born on Wednesdays, 1 wad born on Sunday, and 0 on every other weekday. We want to know how many such possibilities there can be.
