What does 5.14 mean?

It says "A word is any sequence of six letters, some pair of which are the same"

What does "some pair of which are the same" mean?

THanks

Hi Bober. This just means that at least two of the letters are the same.

For example, if the letters available are A, B, C, D, E, and F, something like ABCABC or ABCDEE would both be examples that we'd want.
