This online course will review the fundamental knowledge and cover problem solving skills needed to excel on this fall's Math Prize for Girls (scheduled for Oct. 6th, 2024). Students will learn the advanced problem solving strategies needed to succeed on the competition and practice with past math contest problems. Dedicated sessions will cover important material that separates the Math Prize for Girls competition from other competitions such as the AMC 10/12 and AIME. It will meet Tuesdays 4-6 PM Pacific (7-9 PM Eastern), starting August 6th, 2024 and finishing September 24th . All meetings will be held online.

  • Fermat's Little Theorem, Wilson's Theorem, Chinese Remainder Theorem, More Number Theory Topics

Real Math Prize problems will be reviewed and analyzed, as well as other related problems.
